Denver Musicians Associations’ “Want Ads” for Musicians
If you haven’t joined the Denver Musicians Association yet, you could be missing out on a possible job playing music on the instrument you love. Recent “want ads” included various local groups looking for musicians for the following positions:
● Andrew Litton, Music Director, is looking for an assistant principal on cello for the Colorado Symphony;
● Adam Flatt, Music Direcotr, is looking for oboe, English horn, and viola players for the Colorado Ballet Orchestra;
● The Boulder Philharmonic needs first and second violin players;
● Douglas County’s Colorado Chamber Orchestra’s Elementary Band & Orchestra programs is looking for part-time help;
● The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Boulder, is needing 7nd Violin and section violin players as well as a principal clarinet player;
● The Littleton Symphony Orchestra is needing an assistant concertmaster, principal bass, strings (all sections), tuba, and percussion players;
