Denver’s School of Rock students – Aren’t they fabulous?!
School of Rock Denver, the local leader in performance-based music education, is currently seeking a part time vocal instructor at our downtown location near Grant and Alameda. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate technical proficiency, vocal range and familiarity with all styles of rock music, including metal, funk/soul and pop, as well as a good working knowledge of performance in both live and studio environments. Extra consideration will also be given to applicants who are proficient multi-instrumentalists.
We provide a dedicated lesson room and all necessary equipment, as well as all marketing and scheduling support, and opportunities for advancement and career development. This position will replace an instructor who is relocating, so a roster of students is already in place! This is a great opportunity for a gigging musician to have steady hours in a fun, exciting and supportive environment, with reasonable scheduling flexibility allowed for your rehearsals, shows and short tours. Compensation based on education and experience. Criminal/Background check required.
