Thoughts and Prayers|

Jamie Crow Bartley let us know that Ryan is out of the hospital and is recovering at home. Read the story and then help Ryan out on his Go Fund Me page. | On Saturday, July 11, Ryan was singing for a band at Jake’s Roadhouse in Arvada. This was the first show that Ryan had been a part of since the beginning of the pandemic. While he was on a break outside, he and a bandmate witnessed a biker gang fight which escalated into a shootout. Ryan rushed to help an injured person and was clubbed on the back of the head. He has suffered a severe brain injury and is currently in a medically induced coma.

Anyone who knows Ryan is not surprised to hear that he went to the aid of another despite the risk to his own life. That’s just who Ryan is. Not only is Ryan a loving husband and father, he is described by friends and family as a gentle giant who is also well known as an amazing singer and songwriter. Ryan has been a part of many bands over the years, in addition to his solo music career.

This fund has been set up to assist Ryan and his family with the mounting medical bills that come along with such a serious injury and recovery. He is currently in critical but stable condition, and doctors are cautiously optimistic. He is not out of the woods and there is no telling what the future will hold for this man who would give a stranger the shirt off his back.

Unfortunately, the people responsible for this heinous act are still at large, if you have any information about this crime or those responsible, please contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
