I am good friends with both Jessie and Eden and Nick. This morning while talking on face book with Sean Smith ( who just got off tour with Motörhead ), I realized that this was the best way to help right now having toured for years as a lighting designer, tour manger,and at times a Roadie
This what we could do: All of this money will go to his family. Thank you everyone who has donated so far.
And I apologize for not emailing everyone back personally.
For those that have asked, the money will be donated to his family to assist in covering any expenses in this sad time. If we reach our goal and go beyond his family’s costs, we will be trying to donate the remainder to victims with the help of the band and his family and an attorney.
I toured for years and this totally touches my heart. I knew Nick thru Jessie and Eden who are good friends of mine.
Today or tonight raise a glass to the memory of Nick Alexander – a guy doing a simple job of touring with a band and selling t-shirts – going new places and making new friends. Last night he ended his journey in a small theater in Paris along with many others whose lives were cut short by hate, by misguided religion, by ignorance.
Here’s to you my friend – may you and the others from this tragic event find peace…

I live in Los Angeles and now work in the film business after years of touring with bands.
I will be creating a trust on Monday that will have members of the band in it to insure that this is all done properly. I am working with an attorney who works in the touring community on getting this all set up who is donating her time and advice.
