From Nate Dawson on Fb, 01/07/18: A couple of deep New Years thoughts I had while watching Cirque Du Soleil tonight: (Thanks for the invite, Kim!)
1. Some people never outgrow putting on crazy outfits and dancing and singing and making music and doing backflips and cartwheels. That makes my heart happy. Never lose track of the things that bring you joy. Even if you never make a living doing them, pursue them. Those are the things that make life worth living.
2. Watching the acrobats as they launched into space, with only the faith in their comrades that they weren’t going to die horrible, mangled deaths in front of a collection of strangers. Cherish the people in your life who are there to look out for you and catch you, to lift you up and encourage you. Those are the people who make it possible for you to fly.
