Update on Gary Ottum (a/k/a Ricky Kasmir), from Laura Ottum, Fb, 1/28/17: It all started a year ago this last past week. And within a two month period 2 tumors have shown up [with] one 4cm, other one small but growing. Doctors have done their best. It’s up to God of how long we will have left together. My life has been wonderful with my love, my best friend, my husband. He’s not in any pain at this time that he’s willing to admit. And Hospice will help me and Tyler with keeping [him] that way. Thank you all for your prayers and love – and shoulders to cry on. For those of you who would like to visit and see him while there is time( doctor said it could be anywhere from 1-3 months) pm, text or call me. We will work something out.

Services for Patrick Doran of Patrick’s Restaurant
From Ron Ivory on Fb, 1/27/17: I just found out today that Patrick Doran of the old Patrick’s Restaurant and Bar in Aurora, CO passed away Christmas morning! There will be a memorial and here is the information passed onto me:
Patrick’s life celebration will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hoffbrau Bar & Grill located at 9110 Wadsworth Parkway, Westminster, CO 80021. We will have an open stage for all to speak and share memories of Patrick. Food and drinks will be provided. Food will start at 7:00 p.m. We will launch lanterns in memory of Patrick at 8:00 p.m. Phat Daddy will play at 8:10 p.m. and then we’ll have an open Jam Session for all musicians who want to play in honor of Patrick until 1:00 a.m. We are working on getting a block of rooms at a close by hotel with a shuttle service.
