Sorry for the rough start…my equipment was being wonky. 00:21:49 Cary Morin: If you join the meeting through a web browser, you can’t see all of the controls he’s talking about… I’m not sure how to switch to the meeting directly from the Zoom app… 00:22:36 Annette Cannon: Cary, did you click on the link that David sent in the email? 00:23:30 Cary Morin: Yes. It opens in a web browser 00:24:32 Annette Cannon: I know mine asked if I wanted to use the web browser, and I did at first and had the same issue as you. Let me know. 00:28:32 Annette Cannon: You are back in… 00:28:50 Cary Morin: I went to the file menu and chose preferences. It should be the “Cary Morin” with the hat and white sweatshirt :) Sorry for the confusion! -Celeste 00:34:32 Rob Roper: I will send the pdf to Dave Barber with the proper Zoom settings for music. 00:34:57 David Barber: I will get it posted on the COMBO site for everyone. 00:38:12 Laurie D: Yes I use clothes pins to hang y laundry SAVES A LOT OF ENERGY!!! 00:40:55 jks: LEDs run pretty cool. Incandescents can run fairly hot though, so please be careful with flammable diffusion material. Dryer sheets can take high heat. Moving diffusion farther away from the light source is helpful both to keep it cool and to create an effectively larger diffused light source. 00:43:58 Cary Morin: I think she’s talking about using a phone or iPad. You can change the direction of the camera 00:46:33 Annette Cannon: Right. 00:46:46 Hector: Unfortunately I need to leave the meeting. All the material shared is fantastic. Thank you very much for the learning opportunity. You all take care and stay safe/healthy. 00:47:03 jks: Thanks Hector, see you next time! 00:50:25 Laurie D: Rob and Dave - you guys are SUPER!!! Thanks a million! 00:50:40 Annette Cannon: Thank you Hector for being here. 00:50:53 Annette Cannon: Great info…. 00:51:03 Laurie D: Mary Speegle is hosting me on a special zoom concert this Wednesday September 30th 7pm you can register here: https://connectingonthenet.com 00:51:08 Rob Roper: Laurie, you are most welcome! Is live-streaming replacing gigging for you, financially? 01:14:24 Jeff Ulrich: And if you have a whiteboard, etc with tip information you want it to read right for the audience. Selfie mode makes it read backwards 01:15:17 Annette Cannon: Great point. 01:17:36 Jeff Ulrich: Will someone be talking about adding a banner to your stream? 01:18:21 Annette Cannon: Be sure to ask on the next question. 01:19:37 Cary Morin: Live stream pay has not come even close to doing live shows in terms of pay.
